In terms of precipitation, the forecast indicates that levels will be below normal in the eastern Prairies and above normal in the western regions. Snowfall is expected to be near or below normal, with the heaviest snowfall likely in late December, early January, and mid-February.
Throughout October and November, temperatures are expected to be above normal, although some precipitation is anticipated. In October, average temperatures are forecasted to be around 9.5°C, which is 3°C above normal, with total precipitation around 35 mm, 10 mm above average.
In November, temperatures are expected to reach 2.5°C, 5°C above normal, with 10 mm of precipitation, which is 5 mm below the average.
