The Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement Cultural Days Gateway to the North Pro Rodeo returns on May 24-26th.
CFWE spoke with Stan Delorme, organizer of the Buffalo Lake Pro Rodeo, as he says he is looking forward to the second Pro Rodeo event, with a history of many rodeos in Buffalo Lake dating back to their very first rodeo in 1978.
Delorme adds that for spectators, this isn’t your average rodeo, with the competitors being the elite within the rodeo scene of a “Who’s Who in Professional Rodeo” competing in this years Pro Rodeo.
Delorme speaks on the entertainment that will feature Justin Sutton & North of 49, Blackeyed Creez, Kyle Desjarlais & Company, and C.C High Ryder, adding that most of the performing artists hail from Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement.

Delorme is hopeful that those that attend will have a good time, and enjoy the rodeo action and the fun activities planned for families and children at the Buffalo Lake Pro Rodeo.
