Seven people, including 5 children were sent to hospital following a report of a two vehicle collision involving a school bus on Highway 43.
When crew’s arrived, they treated two adults and five children before sending them to hospital where they were later released.
Investigation has revealed that the bus proceeded across Highway 43 after stopping at Williamson Park road. The vehicle was then struck by an East-bound truck.
The driver of the bus has been issued one violation ticket on for failing to proceed when safe after stopping and another violation under the Commercial Vehicle Safety Regulation.
