The 2024 Native Provincials are underway in Edmonton, with one of the many teams, the Kikino Red Army now has a new head coach that looks to follow in his late fathers footsteps.
Dalton Cardinal, the son of the late Cory Cardinal, has now taken on the Head Coach mantel tp lead the new generations of youth within his community to continue on his dad’s legacy and the team, as Cardinal says it makes him choke up seeing his dad honored throughout the Native Provincials, with is fathers number on every jersey.

Cardinal says he went from Assistant Coach to becoming the Head Coach, with having players on his team the he’s watched grow up to the young men they are today.
