Grande Prairie RCMP is asking for the public’s help, after thieves gained access to a locked compound housing equipment from various area first responder agencies on March 25.
The detachment was notified by the Grande Prairie County Community and Enforcement Services compound in Clairmont that a theft had taken place the night before. Some of their equipment was among the items stolen.
Police provided a complete description including licence plates and Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN).

- 2021 Grey Polaris Sportsman Touring 570, AB Licence NKA73, VIN: 4XASDE575MA293420
- 2022 Black “Rainbow Trailers” Flat Deck, AB Licence 6CY542, VIN: 2RGBA1426N1000110
No other equipment such as RCMP uniforms or use of force items were stolen. A video surveillance recording shows the event took place between 7:54 p.m. and 8:29 p.m. on Mar. 25. No video was provided for publication.
