Activate Arts Alberta, formally known as Ice on Whyte, returns with Chiseled, Edmonton’s International Ice Carving Competition is underway at the Ice District Plaza from January 18-20th.
Windspeaker Radio Network spoke with Kameron Garbe, one of the ice carving competitors from Armstrong B.C says it feels pretty special to be a part of Chiseled event inside the Ice District Plaza.
Garbe adds that he and his partner will be carving hammerhead sharks with the huge blocks of ice in the international Ice carving competition.
With only several years under his belt and bringing over knowledge as a wood carver, Garbe says it’s passion that brought him to ice carving.
