Activate Arts Alberta, formally known as Ice on Whyte, returns with ‘Chiseled’, Edmonton’s International Ice Carving Competition is making it’s mark on the Ice District Plaza on January 18-20.
Jill Roszell, producer of Activate Arts Alberta spoke with Windspeaker Radio Network as she says the event is tons of fun for many to check out.
With the new name and location changed since last year, Roszell says it’s still Edmonton’s International Ice Carving Competition with it’s rich history dating back to it’s start date of 2003.
With 14 competitors carving in the competition, Roszell adds that they come from around the world and travel to many circuits such as Italy and China.
Roszell gives the rundown on what many can expect in this years competition which kicks off on the 18th, with free entry inside the Ice District Plaza.
