A woman is dead following a hit-and-run on Sunday just outside of Maskwacis.
RCMP say they responded to a call at 6:52pm reporting a hit and run involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Powerline Road and Highway 611 west, about 2km west of the Maskwacis townsite.
When officers arrived on scene they found the body of a 24-year-old woman. If anyone has information on this incident they’re asked to contact Maskwacis RCMP at 780-585-3767
