Alberta RCMP are reminding drivers to use caution and slow down on the highways especially after a snowfall.
Driving conditions were the factor for a string of collisions on the Queen Elizabeth II Highway south of Edmonton on Sunday night.
RCMP were responding to one crash near Highway 616 when they observed two other ‘minor’ collisions prior to midnight. Crews are now reminding drivers that snowfall can lead to icy roads or hard to see surroundings.
