A 25 year old man is facing four gun charges in a case that prompted a shelter in place in Lac La Biche over the weekend.
RCMP were notified of the warning at 9:00am on Saturday, November 18th advising residents in the Beaver Lake area to stay in their homes and others to avoid the area due to firearms complaints.
RCMP announced they arrested the man on Sunday. The Beaver Lake Cree nation resident has been charged with with careless use of a firearm, discharge use of a firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He’ll appear in court on December 11th.
