Since 1940, the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton has provided holiday cheer to residents who may not be able to afford it.
In 2022, 60,582 individuals were provided a festive meal with 17,355 more applications approved (+69%) and 6,962 teens aged 13 to 17 were provided a holiday gift card.
Adam Zawadiuk is the Executive Director with the Christmas Bureau. He’s been with the organization for close to 3 years and shares one of his proudest moments so far with the Bureau.
Zawadiuk mentions the evergrowing challenges of the economy, paired with the lingering effects of the pandemic, the Bureau is looking for more financial donations than ever.
