The new Aquatics Centre in Lac La Biche is nearing completion, with doors set to open in the mid – 2026. The facility will bring modern pools, waterslides, and family-friendly features to the community, creating a new hub for recreation and wellness in the region.
Mackenzie Zilinski, Communications and Partnerships Officer with Lac La Biche County, tells CFWE the new facility inside the Bold Centre is expected to attract more community member and new residents to the area.
Zilinski says the new Aquatics Facility will feature modern amenities, with hopes it will host future community events.
